Massage Therapist's Opinion October 19, 2004 75 out of 75 found this review helpful
I had the privilege to listen to this CD at a client's home one afternoon while doing a 90 minute massage. It was wonderful! This was my first opportunity to get to amazon to buy this CD and I'm thrilled to be the first to tell how great this CD is. I've only heard one of the two CDs and the one I listened to was nearly 75-80 minutes long. Every tract sounded very clear with no backgroung noise. You won't be disappointed!! If you feel tense or stressed, listening to these selections will calm your nerves and renew your spirit. From tract to tract, each has mind easing flow that can help enable you to relax your breathing and clear your thoughts. You will be filled with serenity and peace. In my profession I have listened to many different types of relaxing and classical variations of compositions so I can tell you that you will not regret buying this collection of music.

I dont want this album to appear on every search I do on amazon. If I search for rzewski or sorabji or glenn gould for example, I have no idea what this album has to do with this. And definitively you cant listen to classic as you can listen to pop music, its is a sin to take all this pieces from the different composers take some sections out and then put it on a album. This is a insult for the composer and interpret of this works.
Greatly enjoy! February 23, 2006 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
I first developed a taste for this music a number of years ago when my daughter started playing in the orchestra. The reason I made this purchase however, was because I have a great deal of difficulty with anxiety and I was looking for ways to find help. I love these CDs. It helps so much to sit and close my eyes and enjoy the music. The CDs are full of beautiful music.
Art Rock Review lV March 7, 2005 8 out of 39 found this review helpful
This is a mere rating for those of you that might have be into art rock music,Yes,Tangerine Dream,Rick Wakeman,Mike Oldfield, looking for something a bit on the classical side, to relax to, and quite possibly enjoy.Having come from a family of piano teachers and knowing before hand alot of Bach, and others who have several classics on this double cd.I have to admit that the 2nd cd( side 2) is better than the first, but that is just my thoughts.Had I a little more insight I might had passed this cd up, and went out and bought Rick Wakeman Night airs, or Wakeman & Wakeman, for the type of classical music I was looking for.If your my dad's age of Seventy something and your much into the old classics I think this cd might just be for you, but if your like me, and into art rock music, looking for a Sunday morning relaxing piece, look futher, or piece together something yourself.Hope this helps in your knowledge for a taste of the most relaxing classical music in the universe.
