Phantom Visions of the future of goth.. February 11, 2005
This is the first CD I've purchased from Phantom Vision.
On first listen, I found that near every word that is sang is echoed - this was a bit distracting honestly due to its over-use.. However, after a while of hearing it I didn't notice it much (or rather, I got used to it) and thats when I gained a better appreciation for the CD.
It combines electo/synth and goth in a way that both type of fans can enjoy. The band shows some serious talent and promise for the future of goth music (where alot of modern bands seem to disappoint). I'll certainly venture to hear their previous 2 releases and watch for future ones.
If nothing else, I'd buy this CD just to hear the song "More Than Than" (lol, even the track name echoes =P ) that is by far my favorite song off this CD and overall just a great track in lyrics and in sound.
