again? March 26, 2005 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
this genre is done. don't get me wrong, i love this genre...it's my guilty pleasure. but seriously, some of the lyrics in this genre are, um, how do you say...LAME and so done-before. but whenever i feel like doing 100 on the highway, nothing sounds better than a little Senses Fail, and now A Change Of Pace. I was in AZ at their cd release, and they put out a great performance! but again, i think anymore bands like this and they aren't going to go anywhere. because let's face it...how can you "hide something obvious?"

A Change Of Pace June 19, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Wow, this CD is really really good. I didn't expect much considering it was their first CD and they were relatively unknown but this CD sounds like it was amazingly planned and well executed. The songs are heartfelt but kinda intense at the same time. It really blends together well. One of the great things about this cd is how the songs varry, they are all different. Lastly I have no idea what in the world people are saying when comparing Loose Lips Sink Ships to Thursday's Cross Out The Eyes, the two songs have very little in common. Highlights to this CD are, Death Do Us Part, December, Every Second and Chippie.
You people suck! September 25, 2005 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
boy, you 5 star reviewers make me laugh. why don't you go pick up a copy of "full collapse" to see first hand how this band totally ripped-off thursday ala "loose lips sink ships". The guitar riffs, melody, atmosphere, timing and structure are EXACTLY the same as thursday's "cross out the eyes". it takes no talent to take someone elses idea, redo it, and call it your own. the biggest poser band of all time, "a change of pace" makes limp bizkit look cool and original. what a bunch of turds!
Horrid October 5, 2006 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
A couple good songs. Not very inventive, nothing exciting. I was really into them before they came out with the full length, but the CD as a whole is too polished and sounding like every other band.
The songs just drag on and nothing seems to stand out. They are NOT like Thursday. I don't know where this came from. They sound more like Yellowcard trying to be hard.
Avoid this CD at all costs. And if you can, avoid the new CD also. It's worse then this and this is pretty bad.
