Album Description
Ths 2 DVD package showcases their amazing live presence as well as providing a more personal look at the band backstage and in the media. Included on the first DVD is their special one-off homeland show on July 22, 2005 on the Java Island in Amsterdam. the second DVD includes a wealth of backstage footage from the last three years giving a rare glimpse of the band off-stage as well as several 'Making Of' features, interviews, and extras. In total the two DVDs contain more than five hours of material - two hours of live concert and three hours of backstage material, videos and interviews.  PAL format not NTSC March 3, 2007

I got my copy directly from Amazon and it is a PAL format DVD. Now I have a player that will play PAL discs but most buyers will not. That said, this is a fantastic concert with great sound and stunningly sharp visuals. Sharon den Adel is not only a very beautiful woman but is perhaps the best female vocalist fronting a metal band, especially now that Tarja is not longer fronting Nightwish.
Get it by all means if you're a fan, but just be aware that this is actually a PAL format DVD.

I bought this DVD about a month ago and have seen the concert several times already. Setting aside the fact that Sharon is beautiful and has a beautiful voice, the whole band is just awesome together, they put on a show that is infectious making you want more. I haven't been this excited about a DVD album since Iron Maiden's "Live after Death" and Rush's "Exit Stage Left". The only sad thing is that Within Temptation and others like Nightwish, After Forever, etc rarely tour in the United States. I wish they would so that they can infuse the uninteresting and mind-numbing US music scene with some energy.

When I started liking Evanescence I heard they were like Lacuna Coil, then I heard Lacuna Coil were like this band. So, I got Mother Earth. I liked it alot so when this DVD came out I dicided to get it on eBay...IT BLOWED ME AWAY! So, I put it in my metal DVD/CD collection so, these are my top three favorite DVDs.

This is a great DVD package: Live show on DVD, "Behind The Scenes" stuff (182 minutes!, that's a lot of BTS... :-)) ) and a live show on CD. Unfortunately, it's not available here on Amazon (unless you buy it used), but it is well worth your money and time. Good band (not one of my top 5, but good nevertheless), great DVD.

This is must-have for Within Temptation fans. I discovered them when I listened to Evanescence and someone told me Evanescence sounded like Within Temptation. Sharon den Adel has an amazing voice. I've never heard anyone that has that type of voice. She has a very strong voice and it goes nicely with the rest of the band's heavy rock.
