| Customer Reviews: Very solid album. May 30, 2009 Billy Hansen (salt lake, UT) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this is a very solid album, that i would consider a step up from schadling. so if you bought schadling and were disapointed like most of us this is a step in the right direction. and the production on the album is hands down the best of all his albums. i highly recommend this to any one who likes wumpscut in the slightest. stand out tracks: the boo, and autophagy day.
Nice improvements; sound layering is go, vocals are getting there July 30, 2010 TastyBabySyndrome ("Daddy Dagon's Daycare" - Proud Sponsor of the Little Tendril Baseball Team, USA) :Wumpscut has evolved quite a bit from the albums that a lot of people remember. The vocals still have some of the same refinement but, when it comes to the sound, it acts as more of a transition piece than a machine cultivating the same old beats. I noticed just how much i liked some of the beats here and there and just how much ome of them had changed. Autophagy Day is a prime example of that, with vocals that are very :wumpscut but sounds that are something different.
The bass beats, thenew styles here and there - its all good changes.
Listen to the band before jumping in because it isn't for everyone. Sometimes it has messages on faith or the lack of it, sometimes on darker things, and sometimes on "you pick the notion." This leads to an eclectic sound and sometimes and interesting one but one that is not for everybody out there.
WUmPYScUtty Sounding Wumpscut. October 9, 2009 CRAZOTOLOGY (Joplin, MO. (USA)) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Same kind of music that Wumpscut has been doing for more than twenty years. Hard hitting techno beats with all of the Goth/Industrial darkness. A few awesome tracks on this album, and a few fluffy repetitive unnecessary songs as well. Not the best Wumpscut album...not the worse. Just ok. I suppose a must have for the fanatic music collector but not for new fans. When it comes to Wumpscut, new fans should start with either "evil young flesh" or "embryodead".
