Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com
Like Kraftwerk and the Art of Noise, this pioneering U.K. electro duo remixes new life into old repertoire--notably the commercial dance tracks they cut for in the mid-'80s. The robotic grooves of "I Want You" and "Kino are standouts. --Jeff Bateman

1 out of 5 stars what's the point?   March 26, 2000

any sentient being who's heard the original remixes of these tracks would tell you that they were far superior to these so-called "updated" remixes. This cd just sort of sits there and repeats itself and is ultra tedious to listen to. frankly, a waste of time. pressure the label to release the original versions instead.

3 out of 5 stars Drastic and detrimental   May 20, 1999

Lean, muscular reworking of popular songs from the band's heyday in the mid-Eighties. Unfortunately, by this CD the Cabs are following trends and no longer setting them. The sparse remixes don't make for enjoyable listening outside of a club.

3 out of 5 stars NOt bad compilation   August 17, 2006
This was back when it came out a not so bad remix compilation of some of the Cabaret Voltaire's tracks. The dancey side has dated a bit I will admit but some of the versions are nice.
