Finnish men do it again!!! September 26, 2000 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Live right here in my arms is something not to be missed. I'm not sure where this was taped, but they have done some amazing live shows on dutch and german tv, and it is worth it to get this single. Any HIM fan wouldn't miss a chance to hear Ville or Mikko live. Recommended~Rakkaus Ei Koskaan Kuole~
A CONFUSING MIX December 15, 2004 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this was a mix of good and bad.the verses sounded horrible but i loved the chorus!him could do better but still this is not one to pass up!
A Great Single, Mostly Because of "Right Here In My Arms" August 4, 2003 I recently purchased HIM's "Single Collection", in which this 4-track single is featured. The songs are "Poison Girl" (studio version from "Razorblade Romance"), "Right Here In My Arms (Live)", "It's All Tears (Live)", and "Posion Girl (Live)". Whereas "Posion Girl" is a beautiful song, neither of the two versions come close to the live version of "Right Here In My Arms", which is always amazing live. It starts off with Ville introducing each member of the band, and as each are introduced, they start to play, and gradually build up upon each other, until it breaks. If you have the "Razorblade Romance" with the bonus live CD, then you'll know how awesome "RHIMA" is live, and it's even better here. "It's All Tears (Drown In This Love)" is a great studio song (5/5), but it doesn't sound too good live (3/5). However, if you're looking for a good album to buy if you're an American and just getting into HIM (their album's can be quite expensive), I suggest "Razorblade Romance", not one of their singles. Then I suggest you get all their other LPs, then the "Single Collection", then buy the singles the "Single Collection" doesn't include.
