| Editorial Reviews:
Album Description Billy Graziadei of Biohazard has been producing bands from many different parts of the world for the past several years. While producing the Groovenics record, Singer Karl Bernholtz and Billy found that they shared many common musical interests and soon Suicide City was born.

They should commit Suicide. August 24, 2008 I listened to one song of theirs on Youtube; it was mediocre, but I decided to get this album anyway. Once I got the CD, I opened it up and looked at the album art. It showed some typical punk-looking sissies, dressed in white, and then sporting some ketchup-like blood. Yeah...I didn't expect much. Even after that, they still managed to go below my expectations.

These jerks ripped the artwork for their cd cover off of a distinguished member of deviantArt. If you have any consideration for the rights of artists, boycott this CD.
Not My Year MADE my year! May 22, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
First of all you have to know that 'Suicide City' consists of 5 amazing & talented people who love what they do. What they do is make great music and put on one of the most energetic shows I have ever seen. This CD is only the beginning. If you are looking for Biohazard, then go buy a Biohazard CD. If you want something fresh & entertaining that has an aggressive sound, and is infused with real passion, then 'Not My Year' is most definately the CD to own. It's a seriously good time.
Truly amazing May 22, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm not one to buy CD's often at all. Maybe a few a year if that, but I saw Suicide City open for Mindless Self Indulgence back in October and they blew me away. Such a kickass band with great vocals, great sounds all around. They really know how to rock! Once the show was over they were selling the CD and I KNEW I had to get a copy. It's an EP which usually would disappoint me but not this one. Each song on here is full of so much angst and energy, I can listen to it over and over. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates rock.
Only Suicide City Can Rock You This Hard!!! May 18, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Dark. Fierce. Melodic. Rivoting. Powerfully intense. Energetic. Psychotic. Sexy. Unique. Euphoric. Exhilerating. These are just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of Suicide City. But words alone cannot describe how phenomenal they are!!! And you will know that from the second you listen to this CD. This is not just your average punk rock CD...it is music that knows no boundaries. These are 5 songs, written and played with heartfelt emotion, that will grab you by the soul and never let it go.
1 - It opens with F*ck Your Dreams, a powerful punk anthem that really makes you go bollistic! If you can listen to this song without jumping around, then I'm going to assume you have no legs! Rating - 5/5
2 - Give Me Your Pity, another pumped up energetic song that manages to mix hardcore with catchy...especially with the chorus chanting "Give me your pity suicide city!" Rating - 4/5
3 - Undone, easily the most euphoric song on the album. The rest of the world goes away when you listen to it...its just amazingly powerful. This song also really highlights how good Karl's vocals are. Its more melodic instead of psychotic but it still packs a punch! I highly recommend this be your first taste of them. Rating - 5/5
4 - Marching Backwords, and yes, it is intentionally mispelled! I would have to say this is the weakest track of the 5 but its not at all a bad song. It just doesn't have the intensity the other 5 have. This ones a lot slower with not as much excitement but the lyrics remain powerful. Rating - 3/5
5 - Diemonds, and yes, that is also intentionally mispelled! I never thought I would like a song more than Undone but damn, this one is amazing! This song is as intense as it gets! If you watched Viva La Bam's Spring Break Special, you may have already heard the opening riffs. But the rivoting intensity of those few notes are nothing compared to the rest of the song! So yes, let this also be part of your first taste of them!! Rating - 5/5
So yes, you should buy this CD right now! If you don't want to take my word for it, then check out their web site or their myspace profile for a taste of these tracks as well as a few new ones. You will see that Karl's flawless vocals are so packed with emotion, its bone chilling. Billy (formerly of Biohazard) and AJ can shred their guitars like you wouldn't believe. Their notes are layered perfectly for some unforgettable riffs. And Billy's backup vocals/screams/growls really bring it all together. Jennifer (formerly of Kittie) is a smoking bass player. She plays with this sensual intensity that only a woman as harcore as her can do! And there's no missing Danny's extreme talent in those flaring drum beats. This band has unbelievable chemistry....so go check them out...if you think you can handle it!!
