'Information Overload' is only the latest launch pad for this band's ongoing exploration of new sonic terrain, a perfect potion for the 21st Century that is sure to find this fungal fantasia of a group once again refusing to stand stock still. Nine tracks. 13th Moon Records.

Brilliant, Mind-Altering Sonic Surrealism February 15, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
An impressive return! It truely seems as if ASF is back to reclaim their position as one of the weridest, wildest, most creative bands around. This record consists of layers upon layers of samples, beats, guitars, subleminal noises, yelling and screaming, and of course that distinctly Fiendish flavor; a perfect balance of social criticism, surrealism, creepiness and sillyness. They are definitely pushing forward sonically, yet remaining true to themselves. Sometimes I miss that old lo-fi, primitive ASF sound, but then I get caught up in the all-out brilliance of these songs. I'm also glad they haven't abandoned their Goth-Punk roots this time as I thought they had after Inferno and Nocturnal Emissions. Now hopefully they'll play some shows in the US and not take so long on recording a follow up to this album!
