i wish amazon had more of their releases July 25, 2006
This is a beautiful cd by a band that not many people know about. There are many comparisons to be made to Dead Can Dance, but I think Arcana has a unique sound that distinguishes them from DCD.
If you like their music you can also check out their website (www.erebusodora.net) and hear songs off their newsest cd - Le Serpent Rouge (which is truly amazing!)
Beautiful, mesmirizing and haunting, December 18, 2006
If you loved pre-spiritchaser Dead Can Dance and are searching for something truly profound, Arcane are for you. Incredibly powerful, emotive and dark yet still in a strange way uplifting. This album is a classic Arcana album, full of majesty and melody, brooding and vampiric. An incredible talent that is essential listening for all that feel a connection to the darker side of existence. Very highly recommended!
