Amazing! February 9, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was awaiting this album after hearing "100%" on Digital Ferret's Asleep By Dawn album. This is great high energy music and the lyrics are great! Very similar styling to KMFDM, highly recommended if you like KMFDM and the like.
I love the beats on these tracks! May 6, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I really enjoyed this CD and I'm very particular when it comes to industrial music. When I need to get pumped up in the morning I always pop this CD in. I love the lyrics too, they really bring out somewhat of a sexual, adrenaline rush. Its a really good buy!
Old KMFDM March 9, 2007 3 out of 13 found this review helpful
They do sound like KMFDM if you lisen to the old stuff. Don't think you are getting anything to lisen to. Don't think you are getting KMFDM's Money or newer. This is more background noise. I use it for long drives in the desert and something playing while I read a book/watch TV/play video games. For that it is great. Just something in the background.
So much potential... August 3, 2007 3 out of 8 found this review helpful
But this album falls flat on its face. I picked up the album after finding out that they were touring in Europe with Ayria and Ego Likeness this fall. I sampled the songs 100% and Vena Cava and decided the album might be worth a listen, but it turns out that even those tracks aren't worth listening to all the way through.
I'm usually an industrial and ebm fan that's not particularly hard to please, but Angelspit is definately missing that special something that seperates awful music from medicore.
Krankhaus as an album would have been better served with a different vocalist (or none at all), and maybe 8 tracks instead of 14 so I wouldn't have had to put up with listening to them as long as I did the first time through.
Don't get me wrong, lyrically and musically the band still has a great deal of potential, but the album is simply put together in the worst possible conglameration.
At least I'll have more room on my iPod after I delete Angelspit from it, so there's always a bright side.
Instead of this album, I'd reccomend Combichrist or Ayria if you don't already own anything from those artists.
Buy this album right NOW! May 4, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The first thing that comes to mind after inserting this gem of a cd into your player is simply an overwhelming WOW. This is by far the overall BEST album I have heard in many years, and that is saying something, trust me! Every track is composed magnificently and not a single song will leave you thinking "eh...." I personally can't wait for a second release. Any industrial, goth, or alternative fan needs to own this one.
