[...] you'll find that this album is a band favorite. Personally, my fave is Pagan Folk, but Alive has a perfection of its own. It begins steeped in Macbeth's 3 witches, perches a bit with The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe, then dives into the joy of life within us and all around us. They master a neo-celtic sound that is filled with earth, air, fire, and water using a harp, hurdy-gurdy, dijridoo, and more. These are songs of the clans.
Also, this album is heavily illustrated- is like a miniature book. The artwork is done by a band member Sic. It is also outstanding.
