Product Description Forever Slave was founded in 2000 by Sergio and Lady Angellyca. In December of 2003, they recorded their debut album, mixing medieval melodies, bloodcurdling keyboard arrangements, the sweet female voice of Lady Angellyca and powerful guitar work, proving to be the perfect formula for the band. Forever Slave has recently completed work on their latest masterpiece, Tales For Bad Girls , which deals with some very controversial subjects such as AIDS, homosexual relationships, cybersex, the mistreatment of women, the pederasty and a collection of forbidden relationships.

STOLEN ARTWORK! July 30, 2008 9 out of 16 found this review helpful
First of all I was very heartbroken to hear that a great band like this one is now stealing art works from artists. The Artwork from this cover is from Zhang Jingna and she did not in any way give consent for them to use it. Here is the article: http://zemotion.deviantart.com/journal/19677587/. Personally I could not buy a cd from a band that steals from other artist hardwork and does not give them credit. So please do not buy this cd and support theives!! The only reason I gave it a star is because Amazon made me rate it in order to post this article.
Female-fronted metal at its best... June 3, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Tales for Bad Girls is much different than its predecessor, Alice's Inferno. It removes much of the synth, violin (bye bye Ignaz /sadface) and mystic lyrics heard in AI. TfBG hits the raw and basic elements of female-fronted metal. There is predominately more raw guitar with driving chords and great drum work. Angellyca's voice fits this style of FS music perfectly. Her voice was great in AI, but you can really tell what 3-4 years and a style twist has done.
The material on this album is good stuff. My favorite is "Our Story". This song shows that Lady Angellyca does have the vocal chops to pull of this style of music. Say Goodbye, D!ckhead, Kristin AIDS, Afterlife are also great songs. All in all, one of the better metal albums in my collection.
Thank you, Forever Slave...this present was long overdue!!
cover art stolen October 29, 2008 3 out of 9 found this review helpful
It is a shame that the cover art for this Cd was stolen from a talented photographer on DeviantArt. Her name is Zhang Jingna, and the original that this was photoshopped from is posted here, [...], and has been since April of 2007. I guess that since she is not American that they thought they could get away with it. She attempted to contact the band regarding their theft of her artwork and was told that their own artist had come up with it... what crap.
I am the Music Manager for a major entertainment retailer, I have access to a great number of consumers, a lot of them who enjoy this genre of music. I have made absolutely sure that this CD will NEVER be sold in our store. This band will never be recommended to our customers, and anyone who ask about them will be told about the theft.
The truly sad part of it is that SPV is a good label, and they have a lot of really good bands on their label... it is a shame to have tainted their image in such a way.
Quit Freaking Out November 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The album's good, don't not buy this because of the whole art work fiasco, sure some guy, down at the record label lifted this and should be held accountable, but its not the band's doing, nor is it 100% their fault. Having your art work replicated to profit someone else sucks, but you all just need to chill and listen to some good music.
