new members same great music July 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
even though the talent of Rachel has left the band. the new members are a welcome addition. i feel immortal has the ability to climb the charts like birthday and Sophia did. buy this CD you will love it. i cant wait to see what else rogue and the rest of the band will offer in the future.
exemplifies all the things I love most about this band September 3, 2008 I bought Immortal after hearing the Cruxshadows in concert and am already eager to buy whatever they put out next. I can't get the song out of my head, but not in the annoying earworm sort of way--as soon as I've finished listening to it, I just want to hit play again. Even though some of the band members have changed, it hasn't lessened the talent of Cruxshadows!
Immortal September 19, 2008 I'm quite impressed with the "Immortal" single. It is beautiful, dark, meaningful, and catchy. The Cruxshadows never fails to impress me!
A great title track October 10, 2008 Immortal is a great track. Definitely one of their best. Has the theatrics, the driving power, the smooth sound, the etherial quality you'd expect from a Cruxshadows song, but it's also a distinct sounding track, so you won't get a "been there, done that" feel from it. This is a great song to pump yourself up for video games
I liked Exile, but it's not for everyone. It's one of their a softer more emotional songs. Well crafted and it has some slightly rocking moments, but if you're looking for something to pump you up, look to one of their other songs.
Ariadne is very violin-heavy, with some light piano in the background. A medium-paced song.
