Product Description "Alphabutt" follows up the highly successful soundtrack, "Juno", which featured many of Dawson's songs. A collection of children's songs written by Dawson along with her musical friends and their children. Hailed by the likes of Rolling Stone, NPR, Blender, and Pitchfork as a seriously talented wordsmith, Dawson successfully leads a group of children in this sunny and energetic batch of tunes with plenty of fun in the form of snapping fingers, clapping hands, and stamping feet. Tender and vulnerable; silly and raw.

"Alphabutt, Poop, Pee, and Fart" should be the title October 18, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I got the album because I enjoy her other work. I don't have any kids (yet) but when I do, I'll be sure to let them have a copy. However, I can't imagine how old they will have to be to understand half of what she is saying. This album sounds like everything else she's put out - usually just Kimya singing with some backup vocals (some kids and baby's in this album), usually just a guitar and maybe some light drums and kazoo's, etc. That's not a bad think, just a fact.
The reason why I said "Alphabutt, Poop, Pee, and Fart" should be the title is because, well, this album uses the words like "poop" and "pee" many, many times in a humorous way that I think kids would love. Lines like "'P' is for Panda Peeing and Pooping in her Potty while Papa Plays Peekaboo." I'm 25 and I find it funny and entertaining.
If you have kids, an immature sense of humor, or simply like extremely different, humorous music, buy this album!
