Album Description Explicit Version. Helmed by noted director Blue Leach (R.E.M., Depeche Mode, Snow Patrol, Beck), Road To Revolution, Live At Milton Keynes captures Linkin Park on its acclaimed 2008 Projekt Revolution tour in front of 65,000 fans in England. The band's first live document in five years, the almost 80 minute concert DVD (and the accompanying CD version) will surely help fans survive a break after the group's recent touring and before the next Linkin Park studio album.

How about a Revolution? November 25, 2008 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Alright So a while ago, Linkin Park released a CD/DVD combo called 'Live in Texas.' Maybe if this one had come out first, I would have loved it but the video and audio do not compare to their first DVD concert release. While this DVD does a mediocre job of giving fans the experience of being at a Linkin Park concert, I think both the band and the crowd were having an off day.
First of all, Chester is off pitch on a lot of the higher notes. I know it's a rock show and no one there can probably hear anything other than the drums and the bass anyway, but for those of us with 5.1 surround sound, the wrong notes are painfully (literally) obvious.
All in all I am not disappointed in my purchase and there are some glimmers of light, like when Mike Shinoda acapella raps his part from "Hands Held High," but every note that Chester misses just makes me cringe.
I dunno, I guess it just feels like they don't believe in what they are singing. They just sound and look like a band going through the motions.

I gave this a one star review before because I was upset that the entire concert wasn't on the dvd. I now realize it is. However, you have to finish the incomplete show in order to get the remaining bonus tracks. While this is annoying, the entire show is on the dvd. I'm not sure why the band did this. I was baffled that the entire show wasn't on the dvd, but now realize it is. So it doesn't deserve one star.

what more do you want. all the linkin park classics are on this cd/dvd. the sound and video quality is good. when you watch the whole video there are extra three songs: papercut, points of auhority and somewhere i belong. again very good video good perfomance by linkin park.
Lack Luster Quality November 25, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Given the price (reasonably low), I shouldn't have expectations that high, but in today's age, I expect better video. The recording in general is about par. I'd rate the video 7/10 and the audio portion of the DVD 8/10.
Another reviewer mentioned that the crowd wasn't that into it - probably because Linkin Park didn't have the energy that they did on "Live in Texas". A much better recording.
I like the song selection of this album though, 18 tracks adds to the value.
Good Show for the Band, but not the best November 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This CD/DVD combo is actually better then "Live in Texas". Unforunately Live in Texas doesn't have the raw sound like this one. This combo actually shows Linkin Park's energy at their live shows. I know the sound isn't great, but that's what you get when you record live. It's not going to be perfect. People expect to much with sound quality since we've gotten spoiled with better technology. The filming of the band it self was good since you could feel the energy from the band. Unforunately I can't say that for the crowd (the crowd might have had a bad or something on those lines).
I know that Chester's vocals are off pitch on some of the songs, but try touring day after day and singing Crawling or Given Up. Broadway singers have an understudy in case their vocals are not up were it should be. But lead vocalists in bands like Linkin Park do not.
If someone is going to buy this don't expect: A good recording since it is a LIVE SHOW. So the sound is not going to be up to standard.
Great vocals by Chester. Chester's vocals are still excellent but not what you expect from him. He is off pitch on some songs.
The live show is not completely. Three songs are hidden tracks at the end of the DVD.
