It is a privilege for a Cash fan from way back to share this story of Johnny's life from his humble beginnings to the present! This is the most wonderful biography and, if you love Johnny Cash, you'll love this video. It is a tribute to a man who has given so much pleasure to so many people and who, despite his success, has not lost his deep faith or the common touch. To have fulfilled his dream from the hardships and struggles endured by his family in his childhood is amazing and kept me enthralled.

This is a great DVD to add to a Johnny cash collection. This is an A&E program that dates back to 1998 (before Johnny's death). It features interviews with Rosanne Cash, Tom Petty, Johnny's brother and sister, ect... There are alot of footage and pictures I have never seen before. A&E really put alot of effort into this DVD. The content is mostly his early stuff then they briefly talk about the late 70's and 80's but still very informative.This is a great portrait of Johnny Cash that anyone can enjoy. I have a learned a few new things about The man in black that I never read about in both his autobiographies.

I saw this A&E biography on its release back in 1998, and it is what made me become a huge Johnny Cash fan. This is a terrific DVD that was well put together and thorough in its research. Whether you are just curious about Johnny Cash or are already familiar with him I think this DVD is a great document of his life and is something that can be appreciated even after multiple viewings.

I caught the last 30 minutes of a show on A&E which was awesome and included everything right up to JR's passing. This version stops with the miss diagnosis of Johnny's illness after the release of Unchained.

This is a very good program. I had viewed it on the television show a few years ago, but it has not been televised lately since the movie was released in the theaters. The DVD is a good movie about the real Johnny Cash and his life. It is very informational about his life story and I really enjoyed watching it.
