Solid and Humerous August 6, 2008 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
If a lot of the songs on this compilation seem like early 90's hits, it's because they were. I have to imagine that Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg wrote the script to Pineapple Express during that time period, so it would make sense that these were songs that inspired them during that time. Lotsa classic tracks like Crossroads by Bone Thugs N Harmony, Eddie Grant's danceclub hit Electric Avenue and Cypress Hill's Dr. Greenthumb.... And the Huey Lewis title track....Awesome!
Loved the Group October 5, 2008 If you ever loved Huey Lewis & The News then you will love this soundtrack the pineapple express cause they get to sing the title song from the movie and what can I say except that it's an dang good song. So grab your copy and play the heck out of that song and call your local radio station and request the song the pineapple express.
