| Editorial Reviews:
Album Description Devin The Dude first met the Coughee Brothaz in the 1980's. Later on, they formed a group called the Odd Squad, and recruited Devin's longtime friend Jugg Mugg and a local DJ named DJ Screw. On this album, Devin is back where he started with his friends...it's the album he always wanted to make!

Devin The Dude Presents The Coughee Brothaz - Waitin Our Turn September 7, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Coughee Brothaz deliver "Waitin our Turn" (2007) a fifteen track independent release which quietly dropped this past week . Contributions on this release come from: Devin the Dude, Rob Quest & Juggmugg (of the Odd Squad), Blk, Mild, Scarface, 14KT, Tony Mac, Manchild, Tre-T.L., Mood, Quad, That Boy Cayse, Darajah, D*vine, Wayne PZ, KB, Dee Rail, K.C., Decomposed Subsonic, Suspect, D-Love, DNA, Shell V., Vee, Warren Lee & T. Fisher. Devin appears on seven of the album's track's while Scarface makes one brief guest appearance on the album's first track. My favourite track on this release is "Fresh Rims & Vogues" an undeniably smooth cruising cut, Devin, Darajah & Tony Mac deliver a head nodder. Another laidback track that vibes well has the Devin teaming up with Darjah & Rob Quest on "On A Hunt For A Lady", feeling the track and the simple but effective chorus and lyrics. Distinct production is found throughout this release whether it be on bouncy upbeat track's like "Rise & Shine", chill getting blazed cuts "The More I Smoke", getting laid "Cockhounds", or throwback "Piece of The Pie". The smooth track's are the ones that I enjoyed most on this release (Fresh Rims & Vogues, On A Hunt For A Lady) Devin the Dude in particular excels on joints like that. "Waiting Our Turn" will be enjoyed by fan's of this Rap collective.

I pre-ordered this album about a week b4 it's release. I only really got into Devin-The-Dude a couple months ago. He's got a boom-dig style for sure n I knew this album would be sick. I got all his albums and I will get any more that come in the future including anything that the Coughee brothaz release. They pulled it off, this cd is chillin'!
