| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description A sequel to the 2005 Grammy nominated Vol. I. Twelve songs culled from Browne's extensive and critically acclaimed solo acoustic concerts around the world over the past few years. Like its predecessor, it captures both spirited and humorous exchanges between Jackson and his audiences, making for a truly intimate listening experience. It reaches back to his debut album and spans his entire career with highlights such as "Never Stop", The Night Inside Me" and "In The Shape Of A Heart".

A very good second volume: January 1, 2009 I absolutely loved "Solo Acoustic Vol 1",(check out my review).
That being said, everything that I loved about Vol 1 is still present in this second volume. The only thing that looses a star in my opinion is that I thought the song selection was better in the first.
The album still has wonderful audio, still has a great intimate vibe, and JB still sounds great.
I love the little intro tid bits, we are privy to with this recording, it makes you feel like you are actually in attendance.
If you like volume one, I would still not hesitate to pick this up. I love listening to them both back to back. It's like one long concert.
I believe both volumes accompany each other very well.
Happy listening!
Dissapointed after Solo Acoustic Vol 1 December 18, 2008 I absolutely loved #1, this one...i didn't love.
Unlike the other one, I find the audience stuff kind of annoying and obtrusive, particularly during the Redneck Friend section. The whole thing seems less focused, with a different vibe.
Listened to the whole album several times, nothing grabbed me. Totally different than #1 where I loved just about every tune and enjoyed the comments.
Not as good as Solo Accoustic Vol 1 September 26, 2008 If you have Solo Accoustic Vol 1 than you will enjoy Vol. 2. However if you dont own Vol. 1, I would suggest you buy it as it has more of the well known hits. Jackson Browne has great songs but this album is more of lesser known material. If you like accoustic music in general than you will really like this album.
Jackson Browne t his best.... September 7, 2008 This is Jackson Browne at his best. He has more than withstood the test of time. He's amazing.
The next best thing to being at a Jackson Browne solo concert September 4, 2008 If you have never heard Jackson Browne perform solo and acoustic -- then you're missing out on a very special experience -- so buy this album as it captures these intimate concerts like you can't imagine.
