Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars One of the greatest industrial albums of all time   February 25, 2001

This is, quite simply, one of the most amazing electronic/industrial albums ever created. Any fan of this genre will be doing him or herself a HUGE favor by picking this up. Numb is a product of the same Vancouver "scene" that spawned Frontline Assembly and Skinny Puppy, and this is their landmark album. While it echoes those bands in its overall style, what really sets Numb apart is their use of sampling--particularly of guitars--no one has done anything like this before or since. It has to be heard to be believed. This album still stands against anything being done today, and still blows most of it away. Mind-blowing.
