Another must own album by Funker Vogt January 17, 2001 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
If you like industrial/EBM, or even any type of techno, you should check out Funker Vogt. We Came To Kill is yet another 100% gold album from Funker Vogt full of pounding beats/synths and excellent lyrics. The theme of the songs are violent, yet justified...with lyrics about war, politics, and evironmental pollution. How often do you hear lyrics this meaningful from American popular music? That's right, almost never. If you're tired of all of the crap that's played on American radio stations, try listening to We Came To Kill by Funker Vogt for a heavy dose of German industrial music.
we came to kill..i mean dance February 17, 2000 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
Man o man, this cd has everything. From guitar driven, rifts drilling industrial romps, to EBM dance that no club goer would resist. If you like to dance or let loose of inkept anger, this cd is for you.
Hard, hard, hardcore November 24, 1999 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
That about sums this CD up - driving guitars, drums and electronics mixed perfectly with loud, hoarse distorted vocals. What can I say, I love it! Funker Vogt is the epitome of hard industrial and it's pretty much right on. A few of the songs are a bit misplaced or drag a little, but for the overwhelming majority of it is a great CD.
