What A CD! February 23, 2003 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
What a CD. I had heard Twelve Feet Tall from my friend about a year ago and just forgot about Raunchy shortly after since I couldn't find anything else on them. Well, I finally found their cd and gave it a spin in my CD player to relocate the magic I once had with "Twelve Feet Tall". Suffice it to say, the cd hasn't left the player yet (for about a month now). The entire CD is a jumping, blazing journey of ranging music that takes your mind to new levels. Lars, the lead singer, can go from his trademark primal scream to a beautifuly melodic voice in an instant. This is not just a recommended buy, it's a MUST buy. You need to own this cd if you like punk, hardcore, or metal since Raunchy can be placed in any of the three genres and still fit.
Great Industrial-Rock April 30, 2003 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I first heard of these guys when I sampled them at a great GREAT record store in Ford, NJ "Vintage Vinyl". Almost instantly, some songs reminded me of Fear Factory-style music and chorus. DOnt expect it to be as great as Demanufacture, but if you miss Fear Factory music, or simular music, these guys are great. They do not "rip-off" FF's style, like some bands do to others, but it just reminds me of FF. Check them out, its worth the trip. The first 2 tracks are fantastic also.
A great album October 21, 2003 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've had this album for almost a year now - it came out in Europe quite some time before it was published in America - and I can honestly say it's great. For me it has gained the status of being a classic, since I still enjoy listening to it just as much as I did when I had just bought it. If you don't believe me you can download "Twelve feet tall" or "Never be" from their homepage www.raunchy.dk, and that will surely convince you that I'm right.
This is a great CD! February 15, 2003 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This CD is amazing. Trust the reviews in magazines on this one. I recomend for anyone who like Fear Factory or any heavy music. Wow I am the first person to write a review on this!
Originality + Heavy + Melodic = Great Music July 20, 2005 From track 1 to 10 this album blew me away. They aren't extremly talented, Nor are they untalented. These guys do a type of Industrial Metal not heard ANYWHERE else! From thumping double bass and heavy riffs to melodic keyboard and synth in 5.2 seconds flat!!
