Cover Image is a lot like Kirk's New Album -[THE FIGHT OF MY LIFE] May 22, 2008 I guess it looks like a spiritual message being told here, it seems like this year the theme is set for "Stand up & Fight for what's yours" i've heard a lot of similarities in selective tracks from most of the new stuff that's coming out from various gospel artists and it feels like it's aiming to this cause.. The Devil is a roaring lion, seeking who he can devour... as scripture foretells. Yes, we have to stand strong and be encouraged fighting the good fight till the end. God bless all those TRUE worshipers who's getting the message out through song.
I really didn't get a chance to listen to the whole track, but i was amazed that Tye took the skit "Look up" from his last album [Victory] and did a full song with Kikki Sheard! Ma'an that was rich... I also love the first track, "Stand out," that was original! I love it!!! others, i glanced through because i was sleepy when i downloaded his album... lol but so far so good, and i'm giving him 4-Starz
Keep <> for Christ Tye lol. Good vocals...
GOOD but not GREAT May 26, 2008 Unfortunately for me I prefer the Vitory Live album over this one, sure there are some good songs on this CD, but I find that many sound very similar. However I'm sure it will grow on me in time, But its just a shame that it hasn't gripped me from the very start like his second album did. That being said Its defintely still an album worth buying though.
GREAT!!! May 28, 2008 STAND out picks up where Victory left off and runs with it. Every stlye that I like is in the one cd...and it's all Gospel. Who else can put rock, pop, worship, r&b and traditonal all on one cd, and have it be relevate and most importantly minister!!! I can't say that I have a favorite. I don't even skip a song....I do repeat on the regular ;-D
Great CD June 3, 2008 This is a great CD from start to finish. Inspirational and encouraging, Tye Tribbet gives you many reasons on this CD to hang in there. My personal favorite is "So Amazing". If you are a fan this is a must for your collection and if you have never heard Tye Tribbet this is a good place to start.
Annointed! June 4, 2008 Having purchased both of Tye's albumns I expected more of the soulful tracks characteristic of "Life" and "Victory". Admittedly the contemporary rock track threw me a bit, but once you listen to the lyrics the annointing is obvious. The more I listen to the albumn the more I fall in love with it. The emphasis on seeking God's face and upholding the standard of righteousness is sadly something that many gospel albums lack. This is not true of "Stand Out".
Initially, I thought "Chasing After You" was my favorite song, until I really got into the title track. Today I really listened to "Well Done" and tears came to my eyes. I say all this to say that each song will speak to different areas of your walk with God. I look forward to praise dancing to one of these songs, most likely "Well Done" or "Chasing After You".
