I finally found it February 1, 2000 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Wow, I don't understand why it was so difficult to find this score, but I am so very glad I did. I already have the Crow (PART 1! ) on DVD and I cannot wait till I get this in the mail. You guys might also want to look into the Bram Stoker's Dracula score; it is quite good.
Chilling and yet inspirational; i love this score! July 4, 1999 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Graeme Revell has got the handle on the feeling of this film. The haunting innocence of boys' choir voices over mood-altering music that can lift you and sink your stomach. This is a must have if you had any connection with this movie at all and you like music. The dark, gothic element with a touch of classical innocence lost is a great meditation or background for ambience.
No words can describe... September 8, 2001 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was blown away by the music. When you're watching a movie, often the score is buried and this one is worth being resurrected. What makes it more powerful is knowing what the music represents; when you know it's about a never dying love, you can hear it, when you know about Brandon Lee's tragic death, the music reminds us of his last days standing. Various sounds and verses are attached to a scene or a character, and them music takes you with them to relive the sad and terrifying journey of The Crow.
Music of Crow.... August 18, 2003 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The music of this movie (being that the movie it self was a amazing story in itself) adds to the excitment and the wonder of what could possibly be a new way of looking as life and death. I think the music is a wonder to listen to with or without the watching of the movie...as it moves your blood faster through your body , you feel the life run through you. And you feel more alive and appreciate the life you were given. A keeper for all those that have a darkside.
Touchingly beautiful and mysteriously painful December 4, 1998 Graeme Revell's score for the first movie helped to make the movie what it is. With its blend of rock, goth, classic, and choir music, it creates an atmosphere without which the movie would not be as good. "Inferno" is my favorite track (the rooftop guitar solo), but every song bursts with pain, depression, and amidst that is an emotional optimism that helps deliver the message of the movie very well. Graeme Revell's soundtracks are always good, but this has to be his best one.
