5 out of 5 stars If you liked the movie you'll probably love the soundtrack   December 14, 2006

Strong rock songs. Pretty slow ballad. The movies flash in my mind as I listen to each of the songs. Need I say more?

It's too bad the band's version of It Can't Rain All The Time isn't on the soundtrack. Then the version that IS on the CD has lyrics 'It WON'T rain all the time'. Jane Siberry's song is quite pretty & her voice very nice but if there actually was a whole song recorded it would have completed the soundtrack nicely.

Could they have thought of this while making the film. Maybe recording wasn't completed before the death of Brandon Lee? Or did they wait until after Lee's death to release a version w/him singing to make post-death profits? I won't be pessimistic. I would have loved to have heard it if there were such a version.

5 out of 5 stars A must for any top ten movie soundtrack lists   January 24, 2007

I am both a music and movie fan (as most people are) and all I have to say about this soundtrack is that it is one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. Enough said. The cd speaks for itself. If you don't have it, buy it. There will be no regrets.

5 out of 5 stars One of single best soundtacks ever made   October 6, 2007

This has to be one of best soundtracks ever made in my viewpoint. This ranks up their with dazed and confused. I personally enjoy the whole album without skipping any songs. If your into different style of rock, from 90's you'll love this soundtrack. Got Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, STP and so forth. Buy this album you wont regret it.

5 out of 5 stars My Teenage Soundtrack   February 14, 2008

This soundtrack is simply amazing. It fits the movie to a T. It was one of my very first teenage music purchases and it sort of defined my life at the time and my taste in music for the times to come. My first introduction to NIN, The Cure, Rage... and the final song by Jane Siberry is so sad and beautiful. I only saw the movie once (though I own it), but I have listened to the soundtrack countless times over the years. This album really helped me and I am so grateful for it.

5 out of 5 stars Original Soundtrack - The Crow   April 30, 2008

Well, I have to say this is easily one of the best soundtracks of all time. It really is an assembly of remarkable bands and some of which are well under the mainstream radar. Another added bonus is that many of these tracks are previously unreleased, and each one shows each respective band at the top of their game. Nine Inch Nails covering Joy Division? Are you kidding me? How amazing is that? All in all this is a stellar soundtrack, one I can pretty much enjoy from beginning to end. I must reiterate just how splendid I find it to have top name acts like Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, and Pantera alongside virtually unknown (except in the industrial world) acts like Machines of Loving Grace and My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult. An interesting mix of bands for sure, but fortunately for me I can appreciate it all.
