 Different in a good way. August 9, 2008
Watching the movie leaves you wanting more...so having the sound track is the closest thing. If you loved the quirky plot and excellent acting, you'd love the weird, rough-around-the-edges music, which was the amusing background to the story line. I also liked the bits of information given inside the CD cover.

I love these natural, ordinary, rambling, breathless, profound songs. Some of them really surprize you with their depth. Others just make you smile.

I like this soundtrack. It's unique and fun to listen to. Many of the songs written are very political, yet still interesting.

We enjoyed the movie very much and realized also, that we really liked the music. I put the cd in when I want to get in a good mood. It can't always be played around little ones, though, because of language in a few of the songs, which includes the f word in one song.
All in all, it is a light hearted happy cd and if you liked the movie, you will love the it like we do. I do wish that the words were included though, because some of the songs move quickly, and we would like to be able to sing them all.

there are times you wish the samples of the music were less than 10 seconds. this is one of them. there is so much creativity here that im not even going to capitalize anything. how much more will hollywood try to shove down our throats. we are already puking. line this up with all the Jlo spears trash and incinerate. hey -- let some more rich kids get together to make a movie and a soundtrack and give it some awards and expect everyone to like it and then tell everyone your successful. nevermind -- they are doing this to us over and over and over. this is like home movies and music of some studio dads children -- we don't need this garbage. bottom line if you want to throw up buy this.
