This Sountrack Basically Rules January 23, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I went and saw the movie last week, and a couple days later I got the soundtrack. having had some more opportunities to listento the music, I love it even more now than I did while I was watching the movie. It's the quirkiest, most random lineup ever, and I love it. The opening track, "All I want is You," and "Anyone Else But You" are my favorites. And now I'm looking up Kimya Dawson and some of the other artists to buy their CDs in addition to this one.
Single-handedly turned a hip-hop/pop girl Indie. January 28, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Saw this movie this past weekend! Soo glad I did, it was SO good! I expected it to be corny like Napolean Dynamite but it was so the opposite. I honestly couldn't tell whether the songs were written for the movie or vice versa! It was THE BEST POSSIBLE soundtrack to go along with this movie. It created feelings that caused me to be completely immersed in the story. It was wonderful all around. Purchasing the soundtrack right now! I agree with the last review, try and watch the movie w/o wanting to go out and get the soundtrack, it's impossible!!!
Juno's Music February 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Juno's music is wonderful..Bright and happy (like the movie), for all of us "kids" (I'm 72)
One of those perfect movie soundtracks February 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The "Juno" soundtrack is one of those soundtracks (like "Garden State") which is the perfect companion to the film and stands great on its own. Despite having a mix of newer and older acts, there's a sense of cohesion to it. After seeing the movie - which was wonderful and deserves an Oscar - I decided I wanted to get this CD because I loved the music so much too. It was nice to see the soundtrack even ordered the songs so that the song which played during the movie's opening was first and the song sung at the end of the movie was last. Many of the songs are fun and you can sing along to (and sometimes get stuck in your head). Hearing "A Well Respected Man" again reminded me just how good the Kinks were. The tracks by Kimya Dawson and the Moldy Peaches are good enough to make you want to go out and sample their CDs too. "Anyone Else But You" seems to stick with me the most and having both the Moldy Peaches version and the version from the movie with the actors is a treat. Besides that song, there are no other excerpts from the movie, so even if you haven't seen the movie you can appreciate the soundtrack.

Juno Was A surprise hit at the box office not only did the movie score big with fans so did the soundtrack during the movie I could not help but realize the music was so engaging for the film, the only song i knew in the movie was buddy holly's dearest. After viewing the end credits to see the rest off the artist the were featured I thought i have to buy this cd's and i did off of amazon. It was the best purchase i have made so far this year. I would highly recommend for people to buy this soundtrack.
