FINALLY! All of the major hits of the Moments on one CD. Thank you, thank you, thank you! These guys are my 6th favorite all-time group (behind Blue Majic, The Delfonics, The Five Stairsteps, Esquires, and The Temprees). Everything they made "back in the day" on 45's seemed to be a "hit"! Til this day the only music I play in my SUV and at home it old school
R & B stuff like this. I have every single group you can think of, but I'd lost many of the Moments songs over the years, so it's good to be able to get them all again. "LUCKY ME, ALL I HAVE, GOTTA FIND A WAY, SUNDAY, LOVELY WAY SHE LOVES, AND "I DO" are some of my all-time favorite jams! Man, it's nice to have all these jams! It tickles me when the young folks ask me "who is that?" Then they are amazed that the old school groups sounded so good. In any event, the MOMENTS are truly MOMENTOUS!

All-Platinum Studios in Enlglewood, New Jersey were not State-Of-The-Art and 30+ years on certain titles occasionally exibit exessive vocal distortion and other anomalies.
The high quality digital sound reproduction of the compact disc format can accentuate any shortcomings on the original source.I worked at a record store and had a customer return this CD thinking it was defective because of the vocal distortion (on the early tracks only). But to clean it up would destroy the magic of this beautiful music.
That aside, This is great stuff. I grew up litening to The Moments on 8 track tapes and transistor radios as a young boy
hoping that the love they sang about would someday come true for me.
If you can get past the dated recording methods (even by 1969 standards) Your in for some sweet memories or better yet, Put this CD on the old Hi-Fi, snuggle up on the couch with your sweety and start some new memories.
A must have!

I had the Moments tape a while back and i grew up listening to alot of the old school R&B music, but hands down, The Moments is one of the best soulfull groups ever!...My favorite songs, actually, i enjoy the whole album, but "All I Have" and "The Lovely Way She Loves", are my all time favorites. The Moments rank hands down, in the the upper echelont of great artist! If you love the Stylistics, Dramatics, Chi-lites, or any of those groups that put out tremendous vocals, then The Moments is a must have in your collection~!...i want to thank AMAZON.COM FOR GETTING IT TO ME...GREAT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!

THis Disc is the straight up Soul for folks who Love True R-N-B Singing from the Soul.Love on a Two way Street is the jam.I Have The Moments&Stacy Lattisaw's Version.if you dig the Dells,Stylistics,Blue Magic,etc... then this is for you.

I remember the Moments well, I remember hearing "Love On A Two Way Street" for the first time on the radio, I remember buying the 45 and playing the grooves out of it. These guys can really belt out a soulful ballad and make you relate to what they're singing about. I remember when a song came out called "You Must Be A Special Lady" by Ray, Goodman and Brown, I knew there was a reason why I liked it so much, these guys were the Moments. You want really smooth soul, buy this disc by the Moments.
