3 out of 5 stars Where's Gerry?   January 5, 2008

I enjoyed the music during the movie and was considering buying the soundtrack, until I checked which songs were there and found nothing sung by Gerard Butler. I went to the movie specifically because he was in it, as a new fan of his incredible acting abilities, and was impressed by his vocals. Unlike Phantom, where they pushed him beyond his range, the songs he sings in "P.S. I Love You" are quite nice on the ears. They were the best part of the film's music, in my opinion. I won't be buying the soundtrack without them included. I will buy the movie when it comes out.

The producers of Music and Lyrics did the same and many of us refused to buy that, as well. They need to start considering WHY people are looking at buying movie soundtracks when planning which songs to put on them.

5 out of 5 stars great compilation   December 5, 2007

Every once in a while a soundtrack comes along that is just such an amazing compilation it becomes and instant favorite - think: Garden State. Or, for us thirtysomethings: Top Gun! PS I Love You is destined to be among the greatest soundtracks of all time.

Be sure to check out "Last Train Home" by Ryan Star ... it will change your life ;)

4 out of 5 stars Good soundtrack, but no "Galway Girl"   December 30, 2007

This is one of the best movie soundtracks that I've heard in really long time. The only downside is that they did not include Steve Earle's "Galway Girl" which was featured twice in the movie.

5 out of 5 stars A Must Have!   December 6, 2007

I hope the movie is as good as the soundtrack. The best song is from break-out artist Ryan Star. Known for being a fan favorite on Rockstar: Supernova, Star shows off his songwriting, vocal, and instrument talents on "Last Train Home."

Buy this album. You won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars Kisses and Cake   December 28, 2007

This soundtrack album, made up of the musical selections that support the film P.S., I Love You, is a wonderful compilation. You will probably find your own favorites among the set, as well as put the CD on to enjoy complete. The selections are varied, sweet, passionate, sensitive and the album certainly stands on its own in addition to adding texture to a film that itself portrays a wide range of emotions. Recommended!!
