Missing One Great Song, I found it though.. January 10, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This soundtrack is missing one song from the bar scene right after Gerry's death. It is the first song playing the background. It is called "Safe and Sound" by a great artist named Nick Pagliari. You can find it on iTUnes though. I did after reading it in the credits and searching for it...it is a great song in a great movie. Hope this helps... I don't know why it isn't on the soundtrack???
Great Soundtrack: Last Train Home a must have December 5, 2007 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
This soundtrack is very good. A lot of romantic songs that are very soothing. I feel the mood of the movie is captured very well and I'm looking forward to its release. The best song on this soundtrack is "Last Train Home" by Ryan Star. His powerful vocals really stand out in the song and the lyrics are very catchy. I find them staying in my mind long after listening to the song. So, give this soundtrack a try, you will not regret it!
Kisses and Cake December 28, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This soundtrack album, made up of the musical selections that support the film P.S., I Love You, is a wonderful compilation. You will probably find your own favorites among the set, as well as put the CD on to enjoy complete. The selections are varied, sweet, passionate, sensitive and the album certainly stands on its own in addition to adding texture to a film that itself portrays a wide range of emotions. Recommended!!
Good soundtrack, but no "Galway Girl" December 30, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is one of the best movie soundtracks that I've heard in really long time. The only downside is that they did not include Steve Earle's "Galway Girl" which was featured twice in the movie.
Soundtrack is good, but... December 31, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I've really enjoyed the soundtrack, but I think it would have been better if SOME of the songs Gerard sang made it on the soundtrack. Also... What was the song played at his character's wake?
