I've really enjoyed the soundtrack, but I think it would have been better if SOME of the songs Gerard sang made it on the soundtrack. Also... What was the song played at his character's wake?
excellent cd--"Last Train Home" is amazing! December 5, 2007 3 out of 8 found this review helpful
This is a great cd with really great tunes by some excellent up and coming artists. I think the clear breakout performance is "Last Train Home" by Ryan Star. It's a beautifully crafted song that's romantic, but rocks. He has an amazing emotive voice which shines in this gorgeous, infectious song.
PS I Love You Soundtrack December 10, 2007 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
Overall, "P.S. I love you" is an excellent and diverse soundtrack. I hope the movie is as good as this album.
The best track on this CD is "Last Train Home" written & performed by Ryan Star of "Rockstar Supernova" fame. This autobiographical(?)high energy, rock love ballad has all the hooks to become a "chart busting" single.
If you love this song, make sure you check out Star's forthcoming Atlantic Record's debut album when it comes out early next year. It is sure to become a "breaking out" showcase of this muti-gifted singer/songwriter's talents.

Steve Earle song, Galway Girl? Couldn't they get the rights for the sountrack? Huge disappointment that it is missing. It stood out in the movie. The Pogues & Flogging Molly songs are the standouts.
Soundtrack from PS I LOVE YOU!!! January 7, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love the soundtrack from PS I LOVE YOU. I listened quite a few times to it before the movie showed.....so when I saw the movie, I was familiar with the songs already. It made the movie more enjoyable......and I absolutely loved the movie. Gerry Butler is certainly "Gerry" in this....what an absolutely adorable guy and actor!!!!!
