Are you kidding me? June 6, 2008 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
$67 for 17 songs? You can buy all of the CDs for that much money. If you want to get into Radiohead, get OK Computer. Don't buy this.
Good Stuff June 9, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a very good sampler if you are new to radiohead and want to check them out. If you like it, it will send you deeper into there catalog for some of there other works. Not sure what a couple of the other reviewers are referring to for $70.00. This is a $14.00 CD. I think they wanted to review the LP's.
Oh Yes, We Radiohead Fans are Paranoid Humans!!!! June 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Big Brother Capitol Records; has just done something no other Record Company has ever done. Released a greatest hits compilation. There There fellow Radiohead fans, lets get over it; Move on. Paranoid Androids and Humans alike must admit no other band is worthy of a midway career spanning compilation than this band.
At that yes they could have appeased every single Radiohead fan on earth and just re-released all their full albums but they chose these 17 songs. Which are a solid representation of radiohead. And In 15 years from now, hopefully our beloved band will choose 17 songs from the second half of their career.
Thank you members of Radiohead for the excellent music, keep it up!
Best band in the world, but do not buy this August 14, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
My zero star review in no way reflects the music. Radiohead is the best band in the world, but this was released by Capital Records solely to cash in as a way to get revenge on the band after they left their label.
Buy Radiohead's albums, their music is meant to be listened to as albums, not as a collection of singles.
To sum: Capital records = Lame
Radiohead = Amazing
Great 'Best Of' comp to intro new listeners October 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Of course, it's very personal, but this is one of those rare occasions when I think the producers have chosen almost EXACTLY the same trax I would have chosen to intro new listeners to Radiohead - the catchiest, hookiest, most sublime trax that really show how this group is in a league of their own. I don't think this compilation in any way detracts from the individual albums, and I really like the flow - not disjointed in any way. I purchased it bc. you can pick up a brand new copy for under $7!
