BEAUTIFUL!!! June 16, 2008 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
What a work of art! They are great on this CD! Love the words! The lyrics in "Your Arms Feel Like Home" are just Beautiful! What a way to word how so many people feel but haven't been able to say it quite this way! This is a truly talented band and this is one of their best CD's yet! Keep up the good work 3 Doors Down!
For $.99 how can you go wrong? May 20, 2008 2 out of 11 found this review helpful
Bought the entire album for $.99, so I was off to a good start. Its basically the type of music you would expect from 3 Doors Down. A solid album, but probably not worth full price.
There best work in a long time June 4, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The last 3DD album I enjoyed was Away from the Sun. It's been my favorite 3DD album up until this CD. I must admit though upon first listen I didn't like it I thought it was to soft to be a 3DD album but after the 3rd listen I was hooked and now I can't stop listening to each song. I never really liked 17 Days it was ok but every song sounded the same on that album but this isn't the case with this one. I was very impressed with It's Not My Time when I heard it on the radio I was expecting another Let Me Go but this song blows it out of the water. I can't pick a favorite because all of the songs are great on this CD and do I dare even say this album is better than the better life? I've liked 3DD since that album came out and I still can't believe its been almost 8 years since then.
Keep Going June 12, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
There isn't really anything terribly new in this album, but who cares. If you are a fan of the group, then you like the sound of their previous albums and you will like the sound of this one. A good mix of crunching guitar rock songs with a few lighter tunes. You probably have heard the radio hit "It's Not My Time", or maybe "Citizen Soldier", during the previews before a movie. Those are strong songs, and I think "Pages" has the potential to be a good hit as well. The album is solid and strong throughout. If you check out iTunes, they have a bonus 13th song which is an acoustic version of "It's the Only One You've Got". This album is highly recommended.
Not as energetic, but good July 4, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I like this album, but is seems like it was a bit rushed. Not as creative or energetic as 3DD's previous releases.
