most people don't like HIM because they think he sounds like a girl or because he comes from a foreign country that used
to be communist and also because he isn't hard enough
and because they think that love metal doesn't exist.
but to me i dont give a sh*t i think HIM is the best band
on planet earth.When i first heard of this band when i was
in germany they were saying on the radio in berlin that HIM
is having a concert and than they played one of his songs
and also announced that they were going on sale.
They played "JOIN ME IN DEATH" and i absoulutley fell in
love with HIM'S music i baught tickets to HIM'S concert
and when i got back to the U.S. i baught every single one of his
cd's and then i got this d.v.d. most people think that
this d.v.d. sucks but i think it rocks.but you are allowed
to think w/e but i love HIM and if your asking if i reccomend
this product the answer is YES!!!.

I bought the DVD the day it came out and thought that the sound and video quality were pretty poor. I put the disc into my computer and discovered that the sound is in MONO. That's right, single channel audio. It sounds atrocious. I e-mailed Jimmy Franks Recording Company about it and they aknowledged the bad sound and video. They said that the source files from BMG Finland were in bad shape, and Universal Records only gave them a week to make the DVD. Shows how much Universal cares about the band, and their fans. Thankfully their next (new) album will be out on Warner Brothers. Don't buy this DVD and support shoddy products from Universal.

This DVD rocks! There are all of his music "wideos" in this DVD and the making of Buried Alive By Love and The Sacrement with Bam Margera. Those two put together makes you want to bust at the seams with laughter. There is nothing better than seeing Bam get on someones case and get pissed off. There is also an interview section with Bloodhound Gangs Jimmy Pop, Ville Valo, and Bam Margera. This is an absolute for anyone into HIM or interested in a really kick ass music DVD!

Being a H.I.M. fan, I wanted to own everything of their's that I could. Since I began listening to H.I.M., I've managed to purchase all four of their albums (Greatest Love Songs No. 666 is still on its way). When I found that Amazon had a H.I.M. DVD available for download, I knew I had to buy it. Then I read the other reviews from those who have seen the DVD. Many of them complained of the quality but I figured, maybe it's just them... If it's a H.I.M. DVD, it will be great. I was sadly mistaken.
The DVD itself (as the title says) is a video collection spanning over six years. The DVD contains twelve videos to popular H.I.M. songs. Two of the songs do not feature their actual music videos, they are mere pieces of live footage pieced together.
The quality of the videos is almost sickening considering this product is a DVD. Many of us would expect a video and audio track that is clean of hissing, crackling, and is at least in vivid color and two-channel stereo. The video for all of the videos is worse than the videos that I downloaded from other H.I.M. fans. The audio, just as many others have said, is featured entirely in left-channel mono. THERE IS NO STEREO ON THIS DVD. It's sad really...
The songs that are featured on the DVD all many of the popular tracks from H.I.M.'s other albums. The songs themselves make-up for the lacking quality of the DVD itself. It's nice to have video that goes along with such great songs.
Overall, if you're a H.I.M. fan, I'd recommend buying this DVD simply because it's so cheap. For under $10 you can't go too wrong. Despite the quality of this DVD being garbage, I am still happy that I now own this treasure.

Just to let people know, the DVD that has been said to have bad quality really does not. This dvd (an official release) has good sound quality. The aforementioned dvd was probably the one with Ville Valo on the front. This one is not an official release, and therefore should not be compared with this one.
The Making Of features are entertaining and funny.
The videos are awesome, and not something that can be missed if you are any kind of HIM fan.
