 Loved it! May 16, 2008
This cd was very beautiful. I loved Michelle Belanger's voice. My favorite tracks were Ligeia's Lament, Children of Heaven, Angels Are Weeping, Blood of Angels, and Children of Heaven Club Mix. I hope everyone loves this CD as much as I did.

Nox Arcana's dark sound combined with the talents of Michelle are sensational! Good for relaxing,yoga,or just completely zoning! Loved it

I must say, being a long-time fan of Nox Arcana, Joseph Vargo's work in general, I was keen to purchase "Blood of Angels" upon hearing they would be using a guest vocalist through out the album. I was horribly disapointed. Yes, on this album Nox Arcana maintains their dark, beautiful, and mistifying symphonies, melodies, and choral effects, but where clearly daft to choose of tone-deaf mediocre vocalist for the job. Not only is she clearly tone-deaf, she has a horrible, monotone voice that gives off the essence of a slight case of constipation on her behalf upon recording. Very disapointed. Actually, anything featuring Michelle Belanger on vocals has been disapointing, and those reviewers who gave this album 5-stars for the fact she's on here, are all simply devoted fans of her literary work and can't help but say they adore anything with the name "Michelle Belanger" printed on it. Hopefully, if Nox Arcana ever again decides to feature a vocalist on any of their future albums, they can get someone who can actually sing. And pity on the reviewer who said this work surpasses that of Nightwish's!
Beautiful music the way I want it. October 16, 2006
This Cd is a great Cd by Nox Arcana, and with the lovely voice of Michelle Belanger, it provides a wonderful musical experience. The songs on this Cd are beautiful, including "Bitter Ashes", "Angels Are Weeping", and "Blood Of Angels". Every time I listen to the song of "Bitter Ashes", it brings to my mind a sad tale told of a female singer who was destined for a briliant future, and yet was so shunned by critics, and her music career falls in pieces at her feet, until all that remains are bitter ashes of a dream that has died along with her career. This Cd comes highly recommended.
Nox Strikes again October 30, 2008
Unlike most of there other works Nox Arcana strikes again with this amazingly creepy and utterly terrifying and gothic picec of music. The Combination of Michelle Belanger amazing vocals and the gothic and utterly creepy tone of the music by Nox this alblum comes out to be one of the best audio cds they have released to date
