The enchanting melodies of "The Silent Force" are amazing. Sharon den Adel's vocals blend effortlessly with the metal and create an awesome experience. If you are a symphonic metal fan, grab this CD.

This album is epic and powerful, but at the same time hauntingly beautiful. Most songs begin with a peaceful prelude that elegantly fades into a wall of sound. Just when you think you might not be able to stand the force of it, you hear this mesmerizing voice that is both ethereal and intense. The more you listen, the more you begin to pick up the subtle fusion of music and voice. This is truly an epic and magnificent album.

I just recently purchased this cd, as i bought The Heart Of Everything, and loved it.
This cd, while different, is wonderful.
Memories- a truly sad song about wanting someone to stay, but really only having the memories.
Angels-You ever think that you've found "the one" and it turns out to be so wrong, and you have your heart ripped apart? thats this song, but the beautiful music and lyrics soften the blow.
Somewhere-my person favorite, the melody and slightly gothic feel of this song almost brings you to tears. Theres a hope in the song "i'll find you somewhere, i'll keep on trying, until my dying day" anever give up on finding the one you love and miss.
And thats just the beginning. If you love Within Temptation, you'll love The Silent Force.
