NEW ALBUM Rocks! July 29, 2008 Jamie Boggess (Acworth, Ga United States) I of course had to get this album as soon as it came out. Leary of what it may sound like I listened to the entire album but was pleased to find out it is just as great as all of the others. I think you should buy this album.
A Rockin Gift For ANY Occasion.... July 29, 2008 E. Corrales 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
....grandma's birthday, cousin's quincenera, brother's bar mitzvah, mom's graduation, uncle's parole, your best friend's bachelorette party (alllllriiiiiight!!!!).... that's RIGHT! This CD will make anyone's day. Oh, and you can't forget to pick one up for yourself while you're at it. Why? Because if you don't, then you are worse than Hitler. And he ate kittens. It's a scientific fact. Srsly though, Pepper has matured a lot from their days as America's favorite boy band, "The Backdoor Boys". They've set out on a musical journey that only has room for the loyalest of the loyal, so buy a magic golden ticket and make sure you stow your carry-on securely, because the ride don't stop til they get you there, and there is DEFINITELY where you wanna be. WARNING: This album will make your nipples explode with delight. Srsly. It happened to my grandmother. And she was just walking by my room as I played it on headphones. Now she's in a home. Sometimes life is cruel. And funny. Mostly funny. PEPPER ROCKS, SUCKAS!!
Nice step up from No Shame August 1, 2008 Jordan Griesshaber 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
First off, I love Pepper. Seen them like 5 times live, maybe more... No shame, their last effort is good, real good, but nothing near as good as Kona Town and In with the Old which are 2 of the most over-looked albums in history (to me). Honestly, I think their mini-hit from old (Crazy Hot Sex) is not even close to their best work. Now, to the new CD...FANTASTIC... I love about 80% of it, like the rest. Track 4 and 12 are the best, going against their normal Ska Punk Reggae trend, more radio rock, which works great. Never bought a Pepper CD? Buy this one FIRST, then Kona Town, then In with the Old, then No Shame. Avoid their first, Givin' It...they had one more guy in the band, a keyboardist I think, they were much better once he left and they sharpened their talent.
a concerned fan August 4, 2008 James Melady (NAS Jax) This album, like many others, will go underappreciated. I was walking through a couple music stores the other day and unfortunately it took me quite a while to find this CD. For any Pepper fans this CD is important and they will go to any extent to find it. but to a normal sheltered person this CD isnt as obvious of a buy. I will recommend this CD to everyone, the genre rebellion that pepper performs in every CD is mesmerizing and this one doesnt let down. if your ready for a change of music buy this one, then tell everyone around you to do the same
GREAT VIBRATIONS!!!! August 4, 2008 Diana Triana (Miami, Florida) This CD is a must have! If you are a Pepper fan you will love it! This cd looks like the boys put a lot of heart and thought into it singing about their own personal lives. I instantly loved each song as I heard it and I haven't stopped listening to it since the release date of 7/22/08. If you want good music this is the right choice!!!
