This is vintage Carlin and what made him unique. I enjoyed his wit and will miss hearing the new jokes.

Great way to end a great life. This was a return to the old Carlin. He will always be one of the greats of comedy. We will miss his unique outlook toward life and his insightful thoughts.
CHRISTIANS SHOULDN'T BUY IT! August 11, 2008 Cindy Martin (ms) 1 out of 30 found this review helpful
I wish I had known that most of this disk was of George talking about how stupid Christians are for believing in God! I would never have bought it.
Loved it August 30, 2008 Patty L. McClung (Centennial, CO. USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Order processed very quickly, price was very reasonable CD as new. Have not found anything at all to complain about with any seller on Amazon.com
Miss You George!! July 30, 2008 Throbbin' Hood (Limbo) This is the last we'll hear from George Carlin. I had the chance to see him perform this routine last year. And it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Yeah, he's a bit angry in his old age, but Carlin never loses that wit we've all come to love and admire. He tears apart religion, politics, and kids, all with a class and style that only Carlin could successfully pull off. Carlin's interest in language really pulled me in to appreciate his style, and has also caused me to study linguistics. Carlin introduced me to politics, history, religious studies, and even sociology. All of that is included in his last effort, one that is truly iconic in nature and a must for every american. One thing I like about this CD over some of the others is that it's broken up into more tracks. Rather than skipping through a bunch of stuff to get to something you really want to hear (his rant on kids pictures, for example), the tracks are separated for easy listening. I miss Carlin. And he was one of the few celebrities whose death I mourned. Of course he wouldn't have wanted it that way. But I gave just one day of sadness, and then continued on with my life. I think he'd be happy, and he's probably up there smiling down on me now.
