AGAIN ANOTHER BORING COLLECTION! October 5, 2008 Westermann (South Florida USA) 1 out of 16 found this review helpful
Those old female singers can't create anymore (this one goes for Cher too). You guys are not tired of those collections. Very BORING! The songs are not that great. I hate old musis. I am 33 and I like something new and inovative. This is why I like Cyndi Lauper new album.
Same thing over and over again... November 6, 2008 Thiago S. Castelhano (Deerfield Beach, FL USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've seen Tina in FL and I must say that even though she's almost 70 she still rocks. However, she hasn't changed a thing! All those tracks are still the same and this last CD just got 2 new songs. What's the point of having a greatest hits collection every time??
Tina! Not just a greatest hits CD October 23, 2008 R. Gray (Grass Valley, CA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just saw Tina Turner in concert last night. It was an amazing performance! She sounded better than any recording of her music and at 68 years old, she can still shake a tail feather :) But the purpose of my post is to relay that the playlist of the CD follows the order of the songs she performs in her current concert tour. My only complaint is that they are the "same old" releases and not redone to show off her (still) great vocals.
Great Tina Best Of - Simply Tina Turner November 6, 2008 ike_and_tina (Austria) It's a little bit of history repeating listening to this best of collection. I hope she is ready for her tour in Europe - we are. Go on Tina.
The Legend Rocks On November 10, 2008 terence reisman (tallahassee, fl USA) The music speaks for itself. I just saw the Atlanta show last night. To see a near 70-year old legend perform with the similar energy level as she did in 1985 when I last saw her and to hear the response from the soldout crowd is something I will never forget. To those who have written negative reviews of the show on this review page, my answer is: be glad these living legends are still performing for all of us "old folks" who also enjoy the Gwen Stefani's, Pink's, and Christina Aguilera's of the world
