What can I say, this is aural pornography. I'll tell you, as a proud woman, I can't stomach this type of thing, with the B-word thrown around so freely. I know Mr. Dogg has been in the business for many years, and he has earned his success the hard way. That doesn't mean we independent ladies (unite!) need to like it. Gin and juice? I gots no use! Pass the lysol, this cd stinks up the room.

THIS WAS WHEN I REALIZED THAT HIP-HOP'S CREATIVITY DIED WITH THIS RECORD WHATEVER SKILLS SNOOP HAS IS DROWNED WITH HIS TYPICAL TALES OF HATRED FOR WOMEN AND SMOKING HERB AND VIOLENT GUNPLAY FROM A MIDDLE - CLASS PREACHER'S KID WHO NEVER SAW NEITHER (HE LIVED IN LONG BEACH) WHILE UPPER-CLASS WHITE KIDS CAN SLUM GHETTO FANTAISES FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER LIVED THIS LIFESTYLE, IT HAS DONE MORE DAMAGE TO INNER-CITY BLACK KIDS KIDS AS SOMEONE WHO GREW UP THERE THIS IDIOT IS A PIMP ALRIGHT SELLING DEATH AND DESTRUCTION FOR A GENERATION OF BLACK KIDS THE BEATS ARE TIGHT BUT LISTEN TO THE LYRICS AND THEN YOU WILL THROW THIS CD IN THE TRASH.
"ONLY SOMEONE WHO NEVER CAME FROM THE GHETTO WILL CELEBRATE IT "

P.S. IF PEOPLE ARE SO BLOW AWAY BUY THE MUSIC GO BUY WHERE THEY "STOLE " THOSE BEATS GET PARLIAMENT-FUNKADELIC ALBUMS FROM 1970-1980 MOST ARE ALL ESSENTIAL

1 out of 5 stars My I.Q. dropped 50 points just from listening to this album.   February 12, 2004

I am a nineteen year old english and art major, and I can tell you from my early expertise that this album provides no lessons in humanity and breaks no new ground in the world of music. Let me first tell you that Snoop Dogg looks like a chimpanzee. Is showing off, lyrically or visually, ones own posessions in a song or music video really art? Music is a definition of human emotion. A Cadillac Escalade is not a human emotion. "Ice" is not a human emotion. "Izzles", "hizzles", "izzies" and "bizzies" are not part of the native language of this country. Possibly the native language of Africa, but not America. So, to this album, and to this artist; I say one thing: If you can't learn to respect music for what it is, or get a firm grasp on what is and is not proper grammar; then go pollute the minds of other societies in other lands, where the natives might understand your crappy lingo. "Keepizzle itizzle realizzle yoizzie."

5 out of 5 stars Best Album Ever Created!   October 14, 2001

There are NO ( ZERO, ZILCH, NADA, NONE) bad songs on the album. That is saying a lot too. Every song is nothing short of amazing. Snoop's smooth silky flow combined with G-Funk provided by Dre, Daz, and Warren G, and great appearances from Nate Dogg and the Rest of the Dogg Pound this album is just pure butter. Extreme genius in every one of his rhymes. This is my favorite album of all time by my absolute favorite rapper. A Fantastic album with such bomb songs as Gin & Juice, Aint No Fun, Whats My Name, Lodi Dodi, , Murder was The Case, Gz and Hustlaz etc etc. Anyone who is affiliated with rap or r&b needs this album. Yes newcomers go buy this album right this second cause the vets of the game already know and they already have it. You should be slapping yourself for even reading this review. Instead you should be spending time gathering loot to buy this ULTIMATE album. A must have for anyone. BUY It it is truly a listening experience.
