Product Description YOU PROBABLY THINK YOU KNOW ALL THERE IS TO KNOW.
ANNA NICOLE SMITH LOST HER SON.
SHE ACCIDENTALLY OVERDOSED. SHE WAS A DRUG ADDICT.
YOU DON'T KNOW A THING...
She was famous for being famous-Americana at its Scarlet Letter-wearing best. A bodacious young girl from Texas, Anna remade herself into the centerfold of the world. She was a "dumb blonde," a stripper, a Playboy Playmate, who boldly took her case against her billionaire husband's family all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. Her tragic life and untimely death evoke an odd mix of fascination, shock, and dismay. And through it all, there still exists a voracious thirst to discover more about who she actually was...and how she really died.
In a book that is sure to surprise even the most avid pop culture junkies, Rita Cosby blows the lid off this astounding story. After an in-depth investigation, this is the definitive journalistic account of the Anna Nicole Smith saga-with unearthed secrets and explosive, never-before-told information.

EXPLOSIVE! September 4, 2007 86 out of 133 found this review helpful
Wowza. What a read. Rita Cosby put the pieces of this puzzle together like a whodunit thriller. When you read the phone calls surrounding Anna's death in the last chapter, it is shocking. And goes contrary to everything the major players have said. She has it down to the minute. And then, best friends forever Howard & Larry... her account explains alot, but I'm sure Howard will be none too happy to find out Larry secretly testified against him to Bahamian authorities. I'm sure this story is only going to get bigger.
You won't be able to put it down. September 5, 2007 44 out of 76 found this review helpful
It is STUNNING....A phone call log between the Parties combined with their PUBLIC statements...conclusions ARE drawn...BUT not by Cosby...BY THE READER... Bahamian Police Statements made by Larry REALLY shake things up!!! Taz breaks her silence.. Stunning REVELATION on what Taz saw on Sterns Computer the Morning of Annas Death...(don't want to spoil it for some) Peter Nygard, Fashion Designer and ex-Boyfriend of 2 years, Friend for 10 years, SUPPORTS Jackie Hattons CLAIMS as to being VERY CLOSE to ANNA. And he had said this on CNN Feb 20 2007.(you can check it) AFTER STERN chased Jackie AWAY from Annas Home, (Jackie was staying at Peters) Anna called PETERS LOOKING for JACKIE...SHE WANTED TO SEE HER...Jackie had ALREADY LEFT...Peter Nygard STATES ALL this. And MUCH MORE...
This is a must read September 6, 2007 38 out of 59 found this review helpful
For anyone who has followed the stories surrounding the death of Anna Nicole Smith's son, Daniel, and subsequently the death of Anna Nicole, this book is definately worth reading. There are accounts of everything from Daniel's fear of Howard K. Stern and the control he felt Howard had over his mother to the "country shopping" Anna and Howard did prior to Dannielynn's birth to what "really" went down in the paternity hearings. Once you start reading it is impossible to put down and despite what I have heard about the book sort of nailing down certain people of wrong doing, the book allows the reader to draw their own conclusion.
None of us can say for sure whether the events described in this book are true or not. Time may tell, or we may never know. What is certain however, is that if some of the things written are true, it is completely understandable why some of those involved would not want poeople reading this. If it's all a lie, it sure is one of the most riveting works of fiction I have ever read. People can say what they want about this book, but we all feed on just about anything the media throws at us surrounding stories we are interested in. It is the reader's job to form their own opinion of what is true and what is false. This is a great book whatever you take away from it.
Anna Nicole's Demise Finally Explained! September 14, 2007 35 out of 58 found this review helpful
This is an explosive book! Rita Cosby surely has pieced together a lot of critical information which the public was hungry for - at least those interested in the Anna Nicole Smith ordeal.
Everything makes sense now. Before I read this book, right after Anna Nicole died, my mother was telling me she thought Anna Nicole was murdered just like Marilyn Monroe and that Howard Stern had a role in her demise. I was telling her "no - no - not possible! he loved her!" But, obviously, I was blind to the scheming which Stern and Birkhead did in order to get more money and publicity. It really was all about the money.
This book is full of details of conversations which transpired and talks about the days leading up to Anna Nicole's demise.
An extremely interesting read - I finished it in four hours!
Unbelievable October 5, 2007 26 out of 31 found this review helpful
Yes, I did buy it. Reads like a glorified tabloid magazine. I found it to be poorly written while trying to be full of sensationalism. It is a fast read, but full of third party accounts, and "things - allegations" that can be found by doing simple online searches for information.
This book is so bad it does not even equal a "who dunnit" novel.
BTW Amazon why do you keep dumping all of the reviews and ratings for this book?
